I can't believe my baby is already 5 months!!! (btw I'll probably say this EVERY month.) But seriously time flies when you have a baby!
I'm not sure what is weight or length is this month exactly. (might update this when I can) He is currently wearing size 3 diapers in Pampers Swaddlers but I think as soon he is done with this box, he'll be moving up to size 4. (Big Butt) We were gifted different brands of diapers for the baby shower but Pampers Swaddlers were the ones he had less blowouts with. He fits best in 9 and 12 month clothing.
He is still breastfed and takes bottles of breastmilk while I'm working. Sometimes I can't keep up with all the milk he drinks! Chunky Monkey for sure. I enjoy nursing him so much! Whenever he hears a noise or someone talking he will unlatch and turn to see what or who it is. If he doesn't know he'll turn and look up at me with some big eyes. It's the funniest, cutest thing!! He has been showing some interest in grownup food but we want to wait until he is 6 months to introduce solids.
Pretty much everything that he grabs he will put into his mouth. Plus his chubby fingers! He even gags sometimes when they go a little too far back. haha!
This past week he has been teething so bad! But one finally poked through. Needless to say he's had rough nights the whole week. Actually all month! Something about 4 month sleep regression? There has also been times where he wakes up and falls back asleep on his own. Anyway on a good night he will wake up 2-3 times to nurse and falls back asleep right after he's done. He naps for a total of 3ish hours on a good day. On the weekends he sleeps in mommy's arms because duh I'm going to hold him. One day he won't want me to so I'm going to hold him as much as I want.
Oh my goodness he is such a squirmy wormy! Loves to be doing something all the time. So if you're holding him, he expects you to be walking around with him or playing with him in some way. He loves to play tag! Omar will hold him and they will chase me around the house, then I will chase them and he is all giggles! Which are our favorite sound in the world! We'll do everything possible to hear him giggle. Which is pretty easy considering his whole back is ticklish and his sides and armpits and neck...He is a very ticklish baby in general. haha! Peak-A-Boo has also become funny to him and he still loves to look at himself in the mirror. Oh and still finds it super funny when I'm laughing.. I guess I have a funny laugh or something. Ha. He is all smiles when daddy gets home from work. It's the cutest thing ever! He'll tug at his lip when he gets close and sometimes makes daddy's lip bleed.
Still loves bath time! He will splash his little feet the whole time. Whenever we accidentally pour water over his face he doesn't cry or get mad. He always try's to sit up in his tub as well. He has so much hair I always have to make sure I rinse it well. It also hasn't fallen!!
